Hotspot |
Screen hotspots are rectangular areas added to Overflow screens that indicate an interaction to go to another screen (on click). Those areas become interactive in the Overflow presentation, as long as a connector is attached to them. |
Image |
An image file inserted into the Overflow document. |
Magnets |
Magnets are predefined points around elements and screen layers, from which connectors can start, or end. They are highlighted on hover. |
Overflow Dashboard |
The Overflow Dashboard is a cloud service for sharing your Overflow diagrams (see Shares below) and managing them online. You can organize them in folders and collaborate with your team via team folders. You can also manage your organizations and People who belong to them. User account management is also done from the Dashboard. |

Sample document |
An Overflow document with a ready-made user flow to demonstrate the essentials of Overflow. |
Screen |
Screens are formed by artboards synced from Sketch or Adobe XD, or frames imported from Figma (integrations with other popular design tools will follow). Images can also be converted to screens. Screens are the main elements of user flows. Their layers are identifiable (applicable to screens that come from artboards/frames) in Overflow so that connectors can start from them. Hotspots can be added to screens. |
Shape |
A shape element that can be a rectangle, oval, diamond, capsule, or parallelogram. |
Publications |
Overflow documents created in the Overflow app can be shared through Publications on the Overflow Dashboard on the cloud. Publications are created and updated in the Editor but managed from your Overflow Dashboard. A Publications essentially includes the Interactive Presentation and is accompanied by a Publication link, which you can send to others or use for embedding. It also includes the Overflow document itself and the document's version history. |
Software update |

Style |
All elements have a set of characteristics that constitute their style. Different types of elements have different style options. |
