There are 2 ways to invite a folder Editor from the Launcher window:
- Select a folder and right-click on it to get the context menu. From there, select the “Share” option
- Select a folder to view its content, and you can use the (+) icon next to the folder name to access the sharing dialog.
When on folder sharing dialog, you get the option to search for specific users in your organization and invite them as “Folder Editors.” You also can invite “Everyone” in the organization as a group.
If enabled, the option to “Notify People” will send an email to the invited users letting them know that they now have the role of “Folder Editors” and have access to the documents within the folder.
Under the “Settings” tab, you will find the option to allow invited folder Editors to invite other users (belonging to the same organization) themselves.
When someone invites you as a Folder Editor, you can find that folder on your Launcher window. As soon as a new document is placed in the folder, you will have editing access to it.
